I can't help it, it's my favorite thing to eat!
Rich flavor coming from the salt inside.
So subtle the taste was, yet left nothing to hide.
Far and wide, I kept a square in my hand.
Having them with me felt like more than a dreamland!
I ate and ate 'till I felt something change.
I ate and I ate, yet something felt very strange.
Would bittersweet no longer bring me joy?
Would I see and eat them and no longer enjoy?
After some time away I've come to say,
I'll enjoy bittersweetness day-to-day!
Although I don't have it regularly,
I will forever have, and love, Ghirardelli.
